BIOGRAPHY
Two hundred and thirty-eight square miles, the Simply Beautiful island of Saint Lucia is the birthplace of five foot, eleven inch, twenty-five year old JAMIE-LYNELL ELLIS. Jamie is the third (and last) child, born to Albertha and Lionel Ellis.
Jamie-Lynell attended the St. Joseph’s Convent in Saint Lucia, and migrated to Canada in 2007. Her home-base is now Toronto and she attends Seneca College, and pursuing a degree in Corporate Media Production, with a dream of one day having her own talk show predominantly dealing with women’s issues.
Jamie-Lynell considers herself an amateur model and in Saint Lucia, participated in the Cable and Wireless Model Search as well as Face of Jabot, Jamaica Fashion week and most recently in Toronto, modelled for Belle Moun Canada. Last year she competed in the Miss Queen of the Islands pageant in 2008 and was the first runner-up.
The Creole-Canada will allow her to pursue her dream of becoming an ambassador for not only Saint Lucia, but the entire Creole-Caribbean. Maturity, honesty, and ambition are some of her characteristics, which she will continue to use in helping to motivate our Caribbean youth. In doing so, people will realize that this show is not just another pageant but a venture into helping others see our Caribbean Nation in a positive light.
